Aircraft booking facility conditions of use

Shareholder, Supernumerary and Authorised (refer Service Agreement) pilots acknowledge and accept the following conditions, warrant and agree that �

(1) At the time of the proposed flight all legislative requirements including pilot licensing, recency, medical certification, Biennial or any other rating reviews, will be valid.

(2) All Company rules covering aircraft use whether or not specifically noted in the MAG Service Agreement or MAG Notes shall be observed.

(3) MAG aircraft shall be used only for private business, recreational and pleasure flying, airwork for recency purposes or flying training with a rated instructor. Apart from permitted cost sharing, MAG aircraft must not be used for hire or reward with any other party, charter work or in any capacity which infringes the private/airwork category.

(4) Neither the MAG Board nor any Director individually shall be held responsible for any breach by the booking pilot, or any other MAG pilot who may fly the aircraft, of Air Safety Regulations, or any accident or incident arising or attributable to pilot negligence.

(5) Prior to undertaking any flight, the member shall ensure that the aircraft is safe to fly and may be legally flown, and enter his/her name and licence number on the maintenance release on completion of the daily inspection.

(6) Group aircraft shall be flown only by the booking pilot or other MAG pilots who are financial, current, and who -

  • accept and meet the terms of the preceding paragraphs (1) to (5) (or)
  • are flying without a booking under the ten past the hour rule.

(7) When a booking has to be cancelled or amended, the booking pilot shall as soon as practicable notify any other pilot who has recorded a stand-by option for that period. If unable to do so, a member currently designated as Booking Co-ordinator, shall be advised.

(8) Unless a appropriate reason is supplied, failure to release an aircraft or advise of a booking cancellation shall result in the imposition of a non-compliance fee.

(9) Should any booking dispute arise, the Booking Co-ordinator or other appointed officer is empowered to resolve the conflict by deleting, amending or refuting any booking entries.
